Fred Miller leads an outstanding team of information professionals responsible for advancing technology services at Wofford College. Before coming to Wofford, Fred was the CIO at Furman University. Fred has also directed the information technology team at Illinois Wesleyan University, and he began his career in higher education at the Berklee College of Music.
Fred is a volunteer for EDUCAUSE, and supports its mission of transforming higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology.

Fred plays keyboards, guitar, and sings with Rock and Roll Reunion. He has played shows with classic rock legends including Little Feat, Rare Earth, the Guess Who, and Blue Oyster Cult.
On Sunday mornings, if he's not on the road, you have a good chance of finding Fred singing and playing guitar with the St. Anthony of Padua Gospel Choir.
Fred enjoys playing golf, and is grateful for the work of the good people at Hanger Clinic.
